The device integrates the Neurosky Mindset and a customized cine-projector. By measuring EEG brainwaves through the mindset the colour and brightness of the projected image will change according to the obserbers feelings. Electrodes pick up potential differences on the forehead and ear. The mindset analyses EEG brainwaves to output Attention and Meditation variables. LED of projector changes red with Attention and green with Meditation, and projected image changing colour.

Mindscopeは鑑賞者の脳波によって映像が変化する映写機です。脳内の可視化を表現するため脳波測定デバイスを用いて、無意識による映像の操作を実現しました。筐体デザインはトーマス・エジソンのキネトスコープを基にしており、覗き穴から映像を鑑賞します。覗き穴は脳波測定を兼ねており、体験者の集中度・リラックス度を生成します。取得した値を基にGainerによってフィルム映写機内部のフルカラーLEDの色を制御し、投影した映像を変化させます。
